Still hanging on to your hope, I see, LOL. That is old news from February buddy. The game is on only for PS3 and 70 million plus PS3 owners should celebrate. The miss opportunity here is Sony should find a way to make sure the PS4 is BC with the PS3 so GT6 will also be playable on the new PS4. It is a missed opportunity on Sony's part.
No GT6 PS4 release and no BC with PS4, what is Sony thinking? When MS announces Forza 5 on the Next Xbox in a week, it will be a big blow to Sony's next Gen plan.

You are wrong, PS2 sold over 140 millions units compared to the 25-30 million unit sold of the original Xbox, so MS has made progress big time with their second effort. I think Nintendo should just give up on the Wii U and walk next door to MS and form a partnership with them. It is a win win proposition for both party.
First, MS need a huge brand to help them gain some needed sale in Japan. Endorse Nintendo to sell the Next Xbox under the Nintendo brand in Japan and with the support of Nintendo's hugely popular IPs, they can killed 2 birds in one by also getting much needed second party support from Nintendo.

No doubt, I think BC is a big win for MS. The latest rumor is that the Next box will indeed have a X360 chip inside the box for BC and added processing power so it might even be a possibility for Rockstar to port over GTA5 to the Xbox Fusion with added textures and improve resolution on a single Blu-Ray disc. We will find out soon enough.

All I need to know when and where I'll be pre-ordering the system at launch. I am pretty sure BC with the X360 is included so I am glad that my 140 plus x360 games can be played on just a single hardware with all my achievements and saves transferable and remain intact.

This is N4G we are talking about here. It doesn't matter what MS does on 5/21, I am pretty sure Sony supporters like you, Strongman, MysticStrummer, and the rest of your buddies will find articles such as "5 Ways MS conference Failed" on Google somewhere and create propaganda to downplay the event; regardless if it is good or bad. It makes perfect sense for GT6 to be a PS3 game.
1. It has over 70 million customers they can sell the product to. The engine, car models, and game assets are already in placed on the PS3 and making a new game for the PS4 will cost long delays and more money spent because a new graphic engine will be required since the cell processor is so different than the ATi one on the PS4.
Looks like I will be skipping this game and will wait for wither GT7 or Forza 5 fo...
Not surprising. Sony likes to release HD version of previous generation game. I can see a XL version that include all the DLC packs probably by Fall of 2014. Still, this game wasn't built on PS4 hardware so it wouldn't be anywhere close to GT7 whenever that game gets released.
